Moderna Museet Malm ö is a modern art museum in Malm ö, Sweden, designed by Swedish architectural firm Tham&Videg å rd Arkitekter. The project adopts the concept of "architecture within architecture" and adds an expansion body wrapped in orange perforated metal panels while retaining the original red brick industrial shell. As the main entrance of the museum, the expanded building includes a reception area, caf é, and upper level exhibition hall. Its geometric shape forms a sharp contrast with the original building, while dynamically interacting with the surrounding blocks through the light and shadow changes of the perforated skin.
