The 1/2.050 solar panel mesh is manufactured by slit and strectched into a diamond shape, it could prevent pigeons or other pest from nesting under or damaging residnetial solar system arrayas, The system allows air to circulate underneath the solor panels, maintaing a protected area betwee roof surface and the bottom of the solar panels.
Application
1/2.050 aluminum expanded metal provide a optimal protection for keeping out animials and windblown debris
When install the solar panel, there will be big space between panel and the bottom , and this space under the panel is easy to be damaged, like :
Damage from animals and rodents : sometime, brids or rodents will find protection from bad weather under the solar panel. and they may scratch the panels when they stay there which will result in a malfunction of panels
Damage from pooling watter. nests, bird droppings and windblown debris ( leaves, plastic bags etc) can allow rainwater or melting snow to pool. if the water is allowed to sit, leaks or roof rot can result.
Damage from exposed wiring: if rodents have chewed on the wires, an individul panel may short circuit or accure more bad sitution.
